I just came back from a trip in Hokkaido. I've rented a car for one week, drove around and visited most part of Hokkaido. You know what, I've driven almost 3000km by this trip =p

I really enjoyed the drive in Hokkaido even though I was traveling alone. Sleeping in the car for a week was not as bad as I thought. Actually, it was quite comfortable =D

If I'm visiting Hokkaido again some day, it will be during the winter, for snowborading.

Anyhow, I'm back to work from tomorrow..... I cannot wait for the next vacation!!

It's been more than a month since my last entry. Sorry for being lazy to update, lol!!
By the way, thanks for the call on my bday, Arthur! It was quite surprising. I bet you thought my English skill was not as good as before =p Even though I use English some times at my workplace, frequency is not many... So I start forgetting English... sigh sigh sigh...
Oh well, there is no exciting news surrounding me. I go to work, come back home and sleep. It's always same routine.
There is only one tiny tiny news for you to update, if I have to. That is........ there is a girl I really like now ^^ But................................................................ if you wanna know rest of the story, email me =p
Anyhow, I'm going to see a performing art this Thursday, the show is performed by "Blue Man Group". Does anyone know this group?? Actually, I've seen their performance in Las Vegas about 5 years ago already.

Hope their performance this time is as good as before. Cannot wait to see them!!!

Haven't updated my entry for a long time.... ooops
Updates are..... I'll be going for 3nights 4days trip to Guam in the end of this month, from 29th Nov. Actually, I was thinking to go to south of Japan, Okinawa, to relax and have some fun. But, somehow, the plan has changed and I'm now going for a trip to Guam with my parents and their friends as an interpreter.... lol. Oh well, I've never been there so it's all right.

You know it's already November... time goes by damn fast once you start working. It'll be one year next month since I graduated from ANU. Hmm... I'm getting old.

Hello. The short holiday in Osaka was good! I spent a relaxing time over there. Next short holiday is in December. Where should I go next?? from the day after tomorrow. It's been a while since the last time I had more than 3 consecutive days of holiday. I'll be driving to Osaka, visiting my grandparents where 600km away from my place. I have no plan at all after I arrive there, but I'll just relax and rest =D

till I get to ride my brand new car!! I was supposed to get it Sept. 1st, but it was delayed. Anyhow, I'm getting it at noon on Monday=D Btw, I have to pay super expensive fee for car insurance. I dont know how much it is on average in Singapore or Australia, but guess how much I have to pay for car insurance!! It's............ $1975 Sing dollar for a year!!! Hmm... no money... no fun.... Oh well, I have given up to go to Hong Kong the end of this month. Instead, I'll drive to Osaka where is 10 hours drive from my place. Hahaha, if you keep driving for 10 hours, how many time can you go around Singapore?! 5 times?! =p Anyway, it's bit sad that there is no one sit on my passenger seat (-.-) I hope I get to find one by December since my next short holiday is in Dec.

I guess most of you never experienced real earthquake. Last few days, there were a couple slightly big earthquake around my district. You'll know once you experience it. It happens all of a sudden, doesn't matter if you are sleeping. Anyway, come to Japan =D You can experience real earthquake a lot!! Hahahaha.

I'm on night shift today as well. Hmm... I do not feel good today. I think I got flu. Sigh sigh sigh... 10 more hours to go..... It's gonna be a long long night.

Variety of things happen in life. It doesn't matter if it is a good thing or bad thing, it just happens. What you do is just deal with it. Accept the fact you faced in front, and overcome it by your effort and luck.

Btw, I have given up to go Singapre in this September since it is way too expensive to go there alone. Instead, I'm now considering to go to Hong Kong because it's much cheaper. No matter where, I just need to get out of Japan and rest my mind for a few days. Not thinking about work even a tiny bit, just think how to enjoy a day. That's what I want now~ =p Oh well, if I can find a cheap airway ticket, I will travel to Hong Kong for sure!!

I had a high-school mini reunions the other day. Why it is mini? Because there were only three of us =p. I had not met one of the two since we graduated from high school, which was.... 8 years ago?! Anyhow, we had fun talking and decided to have a dinner once in a while. And also we decided to contact and bring one classmate every time we meet up. I wish one day we can have a whole class reunions =D

Oh well, I'm at night shift now and it has been so-so today. Not too busy, but not too boring. By the way, Japan beat Australia on Asian Cup at the quarter-final by PK=D Hehehe, revenge for the last year World Cup! Semi-final is agains Saudi Arabia!!! Japan is gonna win aginst them and will be a champion!!

since I have started living in a new place. It' really comfortable here, and I like my room very much. It's much much bigger than Bruce Hall room!!! =p. Hahaha, anyhow, my job is getting busier and busier day by bay recently. In less than two weeks, summer holiday will start in Japan for students. Hmm, I envy them so much!! How are you all? I've been all right. As you know, I have moved to a new place where it is in Chiba prefecture. My new life has started from 8th, June=D. It's been 10 days so far and I love it! Even though it's bit far from my workplace, it dosen't bother me at all.
Anyhow, one bad news is that I cannot use internet from my place yet. It's gonna take some time to activate the internet line, possibly a few weeks more. Until then, I can only access internet from my workplace. Hmm.... That's pretty inconvenient =(

G'day mates =D How have you been? Those of you in Australia must be stuggling with final exams now! Others in Singapore are struggling with their jobs!? Haha, I'm one of the latter as well. I stayed at workplace last night until 24:30.... Since there was no train that I could take to get back to home, I had to take a cab..... which cost me.... guess how much!!! AUS$250!!! Oh well, my company will pay me back later on so it's all right.
Anyhow, I'm at night shift right now and I'll finish work at 9:30am. Then, once I get back to home, I will be moving to a new place. I have to load heavy stuff in a car, then drive for 2 hours to the new place. It's gonna be a long day~~!

Yokohama Intercontinental Hotel

Hello everyone! How have you been?? I've been quite busy as well as happy at the same time. Last weekend, my g.f. and I went to stay the Intercontinental Hotel for a night to spend a luxury time =D The room was good, great night view since it is located at harbour, and nice tasty champagne! Then in the morning, breakfast was delievered to the room=D Such a luxury time!! However, of course, there is cost always... my wallet.... I have NO money~~~~!!!
Anyhow, she came to my house next day, and spet a few hours there, then I took her home by car where 2 hours drive from my home. And it happened.... on the way back to my sweet home.... I was driving a takeover lane on the highway, and all of a sudden, I heard sound like a gunshot. I knew something was strange.... then I parked the car at shoulder of the road. And I found that the rear tire was flat!!! Hmmm... so unlucky. Well, I didn't know how to change a tire so I had to call a road-service company to change a tire, and they told me that I had to wait 50mins and it would be AUS$300 to change a tire!!!!!!!!!! Damn expensive!!! So, I said "no thank you =p" and called my dad to help me. Now, I know how to change a flat tire =D　It was a good experience but I dont want to experience it anymore though =@

Night Shift

Hello, guys!! How are you all doing? Any new exciting news?? If so, e-mail me, k?! Oh well, I'm at work right now. Today is a night shift which is from 9pm to 9:30am next morning. Hmm... so sleepy. In Japan, it is so-called "Golden Week" starting from today. Most of people are on holiday of 9 days.... But I, no holiday until... don't know when.
But, I'll make you a promise. I will go to visit at least Singapore some time in this year for a few days!! I don't know when it will be but hopefully around September. If it really happens, those of you in Singapore, promise me that you will take days off for me!!

Have you seen any performing arts by Cirque Du Soleil?? If not, you MUST see their shows!! Today, I went to see the show called "Dralion" with my friends. It was so good!! If you have a chance to see their shows, you have to see!! I do recommend a lot! Actually, I have seen their show in Las Vegas 4years ago. It was a different show from the one I watched today. So far, I have seen more than 10 performing arts, in NYC, Las Vegas, Japan etc. The best one I watched was in Las Vegas, called "O". Anyway, go to see Cirque Du Soleil show!!

Hello guys, how all of you doing?? It's been more than two months since I have started working full time already... Time goes by so fast la. Oh well, such is life.......... a boring life =p
Anyway, I went to the place so-called "Sea Paradise" where is less than an hour from my place by train. It's a combination of a thempark and an aquarium. The pictures below are dolphines and a seal.

Today, I went to see Japanese cherry in Tokyo. It was really crowded with tons of ppl!!! But, it was worth going to see the cherry. It was in full bloom and at night, the trees were lighted up. Spring season has already come and now counting for summer to come. Time passes by so fast. It is already April....

How are you everyone?? It's been a while since the last time I updated the last entry. The work has been quite busy these days. Oh well, such is life, I'll just get used to it soon or later=D. Anyhow, this is the car I drive after I came back to Japan. Just to make sure, it is not my car, but my brother's =p. It's DAIHATSU, MOVE. I guess not many of you know this car since I've never seen this type of car in Australia, Singapore or Malaysia. It is so........... GOOD!!! The screen quality is wonderful!!! Hehe, I bought a plasma TV the other day. It is a product of HITACHI and the size is 37inch!!! I also bought a hard-disk recorder which has 400GB space for recording tv programs. I'm having such a great time now!! Watching soccer games with it, I can no longer watch with 15 inch tv =p

It's been a month already since I have started working full-time. So far so good I guess. I haven't caused any big troubles to the company yet :p But I'm so sure that soon or later it will happen. Oh the other day, a friend of mine sent me pics of Canberra covered by ice (hail). I couldn't believe that it hailed in Canberra!!!! I wish I were there =p
Oh well, today is Sunday, and my friend came to visit me since he was bored. So, we went off to play pool. I don't remeber when was the last time I played it, but sure pool is fun!! We played 7 games and I won 4 of them :D

First Day

Today was the first day to go to the job I got. I was so nervous and worried but as time passed, I was able to calm down. Anyhow, today was only paper work and a lot of greetings to new colleagues. The real work starts from tomorrow. I hope I don't make any stupid mistakes.

Anyhow, as I have mentioned before, I was thinking to move to Tokyo by now. However, I was not able to find a good place, and since I don't have enough money right now, I have decided to wait until around August or September. Until then, I have to take the rush-hour train to the workplace. You know how packed the Japanese rush-hour train is, right!? Sigh, sigh, sigh.

As I have wrote before, I had two job interveiws today, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon. After one hour of the morning interview, I got a call from them, and they'd like to employ me. Which means..... I'm not going back to Singpaore.....
I have to start my new life here....
hmm... I don't know whether it is a good choice or a bad choice....
Oh well, I guess I'll see what it is like in a few months or within a year.
Anyhow, since it takes 90mins from here to the place where I start working,
I have to find a room where close to the workplace.
The job will start from the 1st of Feb, so from tomorrow I have to find a room,
then by the end of next week, hopefully I'm moving into a new place.

Oh well such is life......

First of all, happy new year everyone!!
Anyhow, here is the latest situation of my job-hunting.
Since I came back to Japan, I have applied some companies mostly located in Japan. One job I have applied is a job in Belgium, another in Germany, and of course, Singapore. However, I haven't recieved any replies yet from them. In the mean time, I applied to a few jobs in Japan, and I had one interview this morning. The job is assisting Japanese travelers in overseas. After I came back from the interview, I recieved e-mail from the company that I can go for the second interview which is on this coming Thursday. If I pass the second interview and health check after that, I'm able to work at the company. Also on this coming Thursday afternoon, I have another job interview which is IT job. The company called Gateway Company BUT it is not related to big brand name Gateway computer company. Anyway, since it is hard to get a full time job in Japan right now, I don't know what will happen until the last minuet. If I cannot find a full-time job by the end of January, I'll go Singapore to find a job again! If that's the case, see you all there!!

I wasn't planning to buy it, but I bought MacBook yesterday. Oops... I went to an electronics shop with my friend to check new digital cameras. Then, there was MacBook... Ah..... I don't have anymore money!!!!!!!!

Anyhow, today is the last day of 2006. This year has passed by so fast. A lot of things happened and all of them became good memories. I don't know where I will be and what I will do, but I wish I can step foward a bit to my dreams.

It's been a few days since I came back to Japan. Having fun with friends as well as delicious foods. As for the interviews in Singapore, I had two job interviews but I never got any. Hmm... things are not easy... Well, I'll look for jobs in Japan until Feb, and if I cannot get one, then I'll go back to Singapore around Chinese new year.

It's been a few days since started a trip with my mom, grandpa and my mom's friend. We first went to the Town of 1770 for snorkeling. However, the wether wasn't good on the day and windy. After one hour of the depature by a cruise, one of the passengers got a heart attack therefore, the cruise had to go back to a bay. Luckily, I heard that the person was all right after all, but unluck for us. I drove up to the town 6 hrs straight then drove back to Surfers Paradise. Even though I like driving, it was bit too much.

Anyhow, my graduation is coming soon and leaving Australia.
Time flies....
It's been two years already.
I really wonder where I will be and what I will be doing 2 years from now.

I'm leaving to Gold Coast again in 15mins. This time, I'm a tour guide and interpreter for my mum, grandpa and my mum's friend. We'll be going to the great barrier reef for snorkeling and then sufers paradise. On 14th, we will come back to Canberra and then 15th, my graduation. Then, in the 15th afternoon after the graduation, we head to Sydney then stay overnight and 16th night, they will be going back to Japan and I'll be flying to Singapore. Hmm... such a tight schedule.

Since I've been renting a car for a few days, I went to visit Lake Tuggeranong College. It's been 7 years already since then. I still remember the first day of the school. It was my first time of studying in overseas, and I was so worried. I chose Cooking class for some reason, and that's how I met Joshua, a best friend of mine. I still remember when we cooked pizza from flour!!The year of 1999 was one of the greatest times of my life, especially I met Joshua, Chigusa and Luthor. They will be my best friends forever.

I took the above pic the other day. When I came back to my room in the afternoon, this bird was right in front of the window. Even when I reached close to the bird, never flew away =)

Who do you think??? Hahaha, of course Bryon!! He lost a soccer game against me the other day, so he had to do some push-ups as a penalty =D When we go the trip to Brisbane, Gold Coast and Perth, I'll take my laptop so ELT, Arthur, Bryon and I can play the soccer game!!! Who's gonna do most push-ups?! Of course, Bryon!!

Anyhow, the exam period has started today even though my first exam is on 9th. As I have mentioned before, I can pass 2 courses for sure, but the other 2 courses, I don't know if I can pass... Pscy course should be fine, but stupid Asian course is making me crazy. I wanted to ask some questions to professor, but he is in New Zealand right now and he only comes back the day before the exam. Even when I asked him questions via e-mail, he never answer the questions and he just wrote, "sorry, I'm in New Zealand." Ahhhhhhh!!!!!!

Today was the last day of lecture in my life (if I don't fail any course....)

I'm in a trouble now... I'm waiting for Nationalism class to start but nobdy comes... I guess there is no lec this week, which means... I'm in a BIG trouble. I have no idea what was going on in this class so I was going to ask the professor how to study for final. But nobody here.... I guess I have to send e-mail to him.

Anyhow, this week is the final week of the semester and just 4 more weeks left till the last exam. So far, there is a high possibility of failing one course, Nationalism in Japan and Korea. Ahhhhhh, I don't want to fail an elective class and not being able to graduate!!! If it is psych course, it's still reasonable if I fail, but an elective class?! No way... Other than the nationalism course, I'm able to pass Stats course and criminology for sure. My concern right now is nationalism and perception courses. Perception course, which final exam worth 60%, is so difficult!! All what we have studied relates to nothing about psychology. It was like biology, how eye percepts visual input, how it can be affected by some stimulus, or how ears work.... I hate it!!!!

Oh well, my campus life is ending in a month, and new career life will start from next year. One day, I wish I become rich and travel around the world.

until I leave Australia. I have booked flight tickets from Sydney to Singapore as well as from Singapore to Japan. I will be leaving Canberra on 16th December, arriving in Singapore next day. Then in Singapore, I will have some job interveiws. Then I will take a flight back to Japan from Singapore on 23rd December. Wow, I cannot believe that I'll be graduating and leaving Australia in 2 months. Haha, but that only if I don't fail any courses =(

Anyhow, next week is the last week of the semeter and all we have to do now is just study for finals.... sigh sigh sigh...

Cannot wait for the trip to Gold Coast and Perth!!!

I don't know what is the reason, but something wrong with me this week. I have no motivation to go to lectures, just staying my room watching shows from Tuesday till now. I only went for 2 tutorials on Monday since I had to do a presentation. After that, skipped all lectures... which means... a week off entirely from uni. A friend of mine told me that maybe I'm depressed, but I know I am not. I just don't feel like to do anything... I think since I was extremely busy last few weeks, I'm just being lazy...

Oh well, I can play indoor soccer tomorrow, so it should help me to refresh my mind.

it's almost 3am now... Last few days, I've been extremely busy... working on 2 essays as well as preparing for a presentation on Monday... In addition to those assignments, a group project has to be handed in on Monday. For the group project, my group members tried to finish everythng today but we were not able to do so. So, we have a meeting again at 11:30 tomorrow (actually today already), then from 2pm, another group meeting... after that indoor soccer from 3:30pm... no time for lunch... no time to rest.... but I LOVE TO PLAY INDOOR SOCCER =D

ah~~~~

From last night after dinner, I started working on two assignments which are due on next monday. I have read some of the assigned articles and now I have to write 1,000 words discussion essay for each of them. Before I started the assignemnts, I thought since I write more than 2,000 words essay for most of psychology classes, 1,000 essays will be an easy job......... However, it turns out that it is much more difficult than writing psychology essays!!! I have no idea what the readings want to say =[ Really.... NO IDEA!!!!

This week is going to be the worst week ever for sure...

I just had a long long long talk with my mom now. I think I've never had a talk with my mom for 2 hours on the phone before. There was Hawker's night dinner party tonight and we had lots of international foods. Then, after the dinner, I suddenly wanted to call my mom. Don't know why. Then I called mom then talked a lot of things, like my studying, my future, my relationship and hmm... a lot of things!! Every time when I told her my opinion, she told me her opinion based on her experiences, saying I'm still immature and I need to grow up and have a big kind heart for friends or even for strangers. All the things mom said were so straightfoward, simple and correct. Every single pieces of jigsaw puzzle in my mind come to fit together into one big picture. After the talk, my mind is so cleared and now I know what to do. I really respect her the way my mom thinks and behaves. She always knows what to do and what not to do. I want to be like her someday. I respect mom as a mother, as a friend, and as a person. I'm glad to be her son. Thank you so much. I love you, mom.

Time flies.... It's been a month alredy since I've started dating with Jia. One month was like an blink. Those happy & fun time go by so fast. I'm really happy to be her b.f. Thank you Jia. A few days ago, we had kind of quarrel because of my poor understanding of English. I think those of you who learn English as a second language know that it is sometimes hard to understand what "it" means. Or, some phrases are hard to understand as well. That's what happened the other day. I felt so stupid and annoyed by the fact that I cannot understand from the flow of conversation. But let me say excuse.... it is sometimes just hard to understand what people say in English! I wish I could have spoken English fluently.... I wish I could understand English without looking up a dictionary. Hehehe, but I am proud to be Japanese even though I'm not typical Japanese (I think). Anyhow, I think this quarrel was good way of understanding each other more. It is much much better than not having quarrel at all. Of course, every couple has problems from tiny small thing to big different values. They have quarrel and understand each other. If they dont have quarrel, then they will just accumulate frustration then break up. However, keep in mind, don't have quarrel too often!! LOL. Not every single day, once in a while is enough =p

Oh well, I hope Jia will like gifts.
Ah.... such a boring lecture and lecturer. I'm in the middle of lecture now and it makes me damn sleepy... But.... I have a feeling right now that since I never understand what's going on in this class, I may FAIL the final exam...... To be honest, it's not a feeling... I can confirm that I will fail this class if I don't start preparing for the final from now.... Hahaha.... sigh.....

As I have posted in yesterday entry, there was an outdoor soccer competition today. Despite of our effort, we lost, 0-1. Too bad... This was my last chance to win the soccer competition in Australia, but here it is, a loss. Hmm.... toooooooooooooo bad.

This morning Jia left to Sydney to see one of her best friends. Until the boarding time of a bus, we talked a lot and somewhat I felt so comfortable, so right of being next to her. I don't know exactly what the feeling was meant to, but it was a warm, comfortable and kind feeling. She's coming back tomorrow afternoon but I miss her already =(

I'm at medical lab with my Hong Kong friend right now, working on criminology presentation. We have almost finished our part, just only making power point slides is left. It won't take long I guess. Then after that, we have to start studying for stats since mid-term exam is coming up soon. Anyway, better go back finishing up ppt slides =p

2-week break is almost the end, only 2 days left. It means..... one mid-term exam is coming up next Thursday... Ah~, I hate Stats. I still have no idea how to apply those formula... As for essays, I have only finished one essay and still struggling with the rest. Some of them are still one month left till due date, so they are fine. But the lab report I'm working on now is a big problem. We conducted an experiment on visual acuty then we now have to calculate the data we measured. I have NO IDEA what the data indicating...

Anyway, apart from assignmets, I think my life is going well. Chatting, playing games, or playing soccer with friends are making me happy. Moreover, now, I have someone I can depend on if I need to, someone I want to make happier, and somone who can make me smile. Life is great now. The only wish I have right now is......... not failing any courses this semester. I want to graduate and start working in overseas. I've been feeling bit awkward to be a student since I came here last year. None of my best friends in Japan are students, they all work full-time. Some of them even got married already. From next year, hopefully, I start my new life in Singapore. If it happens, then, one of my many dreams become true, working in overseas.

Oh my god.... another marriage again. Beginning of this year, one of my friends got married. In May this year, another friend of mine who I used to go to a college with in San Diego got married. Then, I just heard a news that a friend of mine from junior high school, who used to be a best friend (dont know why but after we graduated from junior high, we never contact), is getting married in June next year. I cannot believe that my friends are getting or got married. What's the reason for rush?! Come on~, we are still 25 years old (i'm 24 still). We can get married around 28 years old~~~!! There is no need to rush into it!! Hahaha, as for me, I MUST get married until 28 since a friend of mine who can do fortune-telling as well as my grandpa who can see or sense things which ordinary ppl cannot, told me that I better get married by 28yrs old. Lol, it's in ...... 4 years!? Hahaha, I hope I'm married by the time then. Hahaha, one thought just popped into my mind, in 4 years means 2010... which means World Cop Soccer in South Africa!!! Therefore.... honeymoon will be Cape Town, Africa to watch the winner of World Cup 2010, Japan!!!!!

It's been 5 years already... Time flies so fast. 5 years ago of today, September 11, 2001, I was in San Diego, studying at Grossmont College. It was after 3 months after I started my new life in the States. I still vividly remember the morning of Sep 11, 2001, collapse of the Twin Towers in NYC. A friend of mine from high school was visiting me at that time and he was supposed to go back to Japan a few days after the incident. That morning, I turned on my computer after I woke up and checked e-mail as usual. Then, some of my friends sent me e-mail asking me whether I was all right or not. I didn't know why the were worried. In one of their e-mail, there was one phrase that attracted my attention, "USA is in a big trouble". I turned on the TV then I saw the smoke coming out from skyscrapers. At first, I thought the scene was from some movies or something. But when I saw the headline, I was shocked. It was real. A week before the incident, another friend of mine from Japan stopped by my place for a few days and left to NY for study. I was so worried about him and tried to call him to make sure that he was all right. However, I wasn't able to catch him until next day. That day, some classes at college were cancelled, and the next day the college had closed due to the rumor that the next target would be universities. Everyone was talking about the attack. All the programs were showing the moment of the second airplane crushing into one of the Twin Tower, the collapse of both towers and people who were trapped in NYC, running away from the towers. I still remeber the sound, faces, scene of the moment. Even though I was actually not there, only watching it through TV, the images and sounds I saw and heared are inscribed in my mind. I can never forget them.

It's been 5 years since then. I never thought that I would be here 5 years ago, studying again in another country. My campus life will finish soon. I really wonder where I will be in 5 years from now. Will I be in Singapore or Japan? Or some other countries?

Behind Schedule....

Five days have already passed since the two-week break started, and I only finished one essay today.... So behind from a planned schedule. By the end of this weekend, I am supposed to finish one more lab report so that next week I can focus on 3 other essays and 2 presentations.... Hmm... how am I going to handle with these... no idea...

Rather than doing assignments, I have nothing special of updated info. of my life. Ah, next week on Tues or Wed, Arthur, ELT & me are going to try jogging for 10k =D I never jog that far so I really don't know if I can cross the 10k line, but we have trained jogging past 6 weeks, so we should be able to make it =)

Anyhow, I'm gonna go back to research about "visual acuity" now... I hate lab report. I have no idea what my experiment results are indicating =(

HOLIDAY 　＼(^∀^)／

It's two-week break now!! Yeah~! As I have noted before, I had a mid-term exam on Saturaday morning. I guess I didi it well, wishing the score to be above 70%. Anyhow, in the afternoon on Saturday, Jia & me went to look for snowboard pants. The first shop we stopped by didn't have my type of pants, but Jia found a cute red pants for herself. Then, we went to the other snowboard shop, a few minuets walk from civic, then I found one snowboard pants. At the first glance, I fell in love with the brown cool stylish snowboard pants. OMG, I was damn happy to find one!! (don't ask me the price) Anyway, I finally got a new snowboard pants, next will be.... a new jacket or brand new board!! Then at night, we went to see the performing arts called "Drum Tao", which is a kind of Japanese Drum band. My first thought of the show was ... not enough impact to my heart. It was a good performance and I did enjoy watching it, listening to the beat of Japanese drum, but the sound of the drum was not loud enough. But, overall, ah especially the last music they played was very impressive.

Then on Sunday, Jia, Arthur, ELT and me went to Thredbo for snowboarding again! When we reached there, it was raining so heavily, not snow, raindrops! Moreover, there were not much snow left. The condition was so bad!! It was raining heavily, no snow, cold.... Even though we went up straight to the higher mountain from the first run, after lunch we just stayed bottom slope, the beginner course. Then we tried and did our best to practise new tricks! Ah I did try 180° and I think I can do it. As for grabing nose or tai of the board, the slope wasn't steep enough and there was no jumping spot, so I wasn't able to try. After all, we did enjoy snowboarding in a bad condition, and took a lot of video clips to edit!

Now, whatelse I will do during this break is..... nothing but do assignments and study for an exam!!! 5 essays, 2 presentations and 1 exam....... Hopefully, I can finsh at least 3 essays by this weekend so I can focus on presentation and exam next week....

It's about 13 hours left till the Criminal Psychology exam starts. I'm in packard tutorial room with my friend, trying to memorize all the thoeries and research results. Hmm.... the only thing I can do is wishing a luck... =D. Today, Bruce Hall soccer team won the grand final match against B&G, 3-0. I was a substitute player and I got to play 15mins in the second half. OMG, I missed 2 scoring opportunities... Ah... I really wanted to score one goal since this was my last game to play as Bruce Hall. Damn..... I should have played much better. Anyhow, the happy thing is that Bruce Hall won last year and this year grand finals! It's one of my great memories of college life!!

Anyhow, after tomorrow morning exam, me & my g.f. will go to look for snowboard pants. I hope there is good one that I can buy. Then at night, we're going to watch Japanese drum performance, "Drum Tao". I didn't know about them until I saw their poster in union court. But apparently, they are quite famous around the world as well as in Japan. I'm really looking forward to seeing it since I love those performing arts shows!!

Then, on Sunday, Arthur, Eu Liang, Jia and me are going for snowboarding again to Thredbo!!
Hehehe!! This time, we'll take lots and lots of pics and video clips so after we come back, we can edit clips again!! Cannot wait!! This time, I'm thinking to try to grab a board (nose or tail) when I jump =D Also, I'll try 180°. Dont' know whether I can do it or not, but it's worth trying I guess!! Much better than not trying and regret!

It is so unfair!! Most of my friends finish their exams and assignments by tomorrow, which is Friday. Then, they start their two-week break from Saturday. However, I have exam on Saturday morning!! Aiyo~, why my exam is on sat?! Unfair la~! Moreover, I have workshop during the break twice a week. Each workshop is one hour only so it won't bother me a lot, but still, it's unfair as well~!! Hahaha.... such is life....

We are in the final week before the two-week break. All what we do is... study, assignments, study, assignments, then bit of chatting w/ friends to refresh mind. What makes me worry now is ........ my small, small, tiny brain. I'm having a bit of trouble memorizing all the theories and terminology as well as how those theories apply to different situations and people. Criminal Psychology is a quite fun subject to study, but it is also difficult area since it's still developing new theories. Ah.. the exam is going to be 20 multiple choice questions and 10 short answers. MCQs should be all right since they are much easier than short answers. I still have 4 days till the exam so it should be enough time left. Hmm, I hope I can get a good grade for the exam so I dont have to study hard for the final:p

It's one week left until the break now. Everyone is busy with assignments and upcoming mid-term exams and I'm one of them as well. Criminology course has an exam on next Saturday and I am so nooooot ready for it yet. Still, reading and listening to lectures, struggling with terminology and theories to memorize.

Well, there is something I must announce.
Today, August 26th 2006, I got a girl friend.
She is from Singapore, 19yrs old, love snowboarding,　taekwondo and breakdancing.
Now you know who I am talking about, right?! Yeah, it's Jia.
I have only 3 months left till I graduate but I'll do all my best to make her smile and happy.
Spend time together as much as we can and build our trust more and more.

Today is the day to start my new life with her.

10 Days Till Break

As the title says, it is only 10 days till the two-week term break. However, to have an enjoyable time on the break, we must finish our assignments and mid-term exams before that. Luckily for me, I have only one mid-term exam before the break. So, I can focus only on the subject. But, after the break, I have 1 more mid-term exam, 2 presentation, and 5 essays due....

hahahahahaha......
I'm so dead~~~~~~ :p

Anyhow, I'm having fun time and wonderful days with friends these days.
Going gym 5 days a week, jogging 3 times a week and indoor soccer on fridays.
I think this semester is the best so far.

Love Snowboarding

Yes! We went to Thredbo for snowboarding today. This trip was organised by MSO so it was cheaper than usual price!! Anyhow, after we reached Thredbo, took about an hour to get everyting and ready to snowboard. Then, my lessons for first-time snowboarders started with an assistant coach, Arthur =p My students were Jaye, Bryon, Eu Liang and Jia. First, teaching how to stop and turn as well as getting used to the board. For Eu Liang, this time was the second time for him to snowboard, so he was doing quite well. Then, Jaye, Bryon and Jia got better and better after a number of falling down. Anyhow, after lunch, me and Arthur went up to a higher level course to snowboard. The weather condition was good and the view from the top was great as well. Snow wasn't too wet up the mountain so it was much easier to snowboard down. Ah~~~, I really LOVE snowboarding!! I miss my own board and boots. Cannot wait to snowboard next time. Hmm... it's gonna be the end of this year I guess in Japan!! Until then, go gym and build up my body for snowboarding!

There was International Ball tonight at Woden. More than 400 people attended the dinner and had quite a lot of fun. To be honest, the dinner wasn't as good as I have expected. It started with entree of squid, octopus, chiken wing and beef ball followed by salad and main course which was lemon chiken. Hmm, anyhow the lemon chiken tasted weird. Oh well, I did enjoy the Ball a lot and took photos and video clips a lot. Here are some of the best shots......

Week 4 has just started. So far this semster, things are going well. Playing indoor and outdoor soccer every week, going to gym 5 days a week, jogging 3 times a week now. Hopefully, by the end of this year, I lose at least 5 kg and much fitter body. Anyhow, so far it's been good, lost 1.5kg compared to 3 weeks ago. Let's excercise everyone!
